Paul ScheetzSenior Data ScientistEtsy

Paul is a senior data scientist on the marketing analytics team at Etsy and has 11 years experience in marketing across agencies, startups, and large tech companies. He is the lead data scientist on all things marketing measurement and is currently in the process of building a dedicated marketing experimentation platform supporting Etsy’s off site advertising and feeds team. Paul is a firm believer that Bayesian > Frequentist and has a strong interest in all things causal inference stemming from the sleepless nights he spent studying for his econometrics classes in his economics graduate degree. Paul is Time Magazine’s 2006 person of the year and was once voted as “most likely to be president” by his high school peers.
